The day of the party dawned clear and warm, not a cloud to be seen in the sky. Millie and Sarah and Silas had been hard at work since
very early sorting out all the food that Silly had gathered. There was a big plate of fruit and a huge mound of lovely gooey pastries!![]() ![]() ![]() Of course, there'll be honeybee tea and dewdrop punch for everyone...more than enough for all the guests who were already
starting to arrive.
The little Wizard from over the hill had been the first to appear -- carrying what looked like a rather small dragon in his hand. In a worried voice, he immediately asked Millie, "How are we going to get the Story Lady to come into the garden?" ![]() ![]() "I've thought about that", she replied "That Cat is going to raise a ruckus (hmmm...more of a ruckus than usual, that is),

and the Story Lady will come out to see what all the noise is about. This is going to be an interesting day for sure!" "Now, everybody find a good hiding place!" And so they did. ![]()
