So it was that the Story Lady came into the garden on that sunny morning.
And to the little gathering of excited wee folklings, she was the very same Story Lady they had known so very long ago. ![]()
With tears in her eyes, she sat down among all her wee friends, exclaiming in wonderment that they had remembered
her birthday, and after such a long time, too. "Which is a happy coincidence", thought Millie, ![]() ![]() as the mouse family stood in the background watching the Blue Fairy greet
the Story Lady."Now, my dears", she said to Sarah and Silas, "Be careful; I still don't trust That Cat, but come along and meet the Story Lady, and then we'll all have tea". ![]() ![]()
