Millie was up before the sun had risen and by the time Sarah and Silas woke, she had firmly established what she thought would be a grand place for their new home.

"Look!", she warbled happily. "Just there, behind the Recipes and above Thomas Wolfe. See? On the shelf over there..."

"The Story Lady never comes here any more; even the plant is plastic", she sighed. "But there's a grand space out of sight behind the Recipes just the right size for two or three Gnomes". And she smiled happily at them.

There's even some furniture. Grandfather Gnome has been busy repairing all the old dollhouse furniture....and...". Her voice trailed off, as she pointed to a neatly-crafted, miniature set of table and chairs.

Sarah and Silas were delighted and immediately climbed up the shelves to investigate.

Silas poked his head out from behind the plastic ivy to ask her, "Now who is this "Story Lady" of whom you speak?"

Before she had a chance to answer, , Silly appeared in the doorway to announce that it was a grand and glorious day and they should all go out and see if anyone was up and about in the Tangled Garden

And so they did.
